Abstract
Ndị Igbo kwenyere na mgbe nwoke ruru oge ilụ nwaanyị, ọ gaa chọta nwaanyị obi ya nabatara, dị ya mma ọ ga-alụ. Naka nke ọzọ ọ naghị adịcha mma mgbe nwataa nwaanyị toruru ogo ịlụ di ma ọ lụghị. Alụm di na nwunye bụ mbịakọrịta nwoke na nwaanyị kwekọrịtara na ha ga-alụ onwe ha. Ha agaa mee mmemme n' ụzọ omenaala etu o siri kwesi ekwesi, ha wee lụọ. N' ala Igbo, isi ihe sekpu nti n' alụm di na nwunye bụ maka ọmụmụ. Ya mere na ọ bụrụ na alụọ nwaanyị ma ọ mụghị nwa, achọba ihe kpatara ya n’ụzọ dị iche iche. Ọ bụ eziokwu na ọmụmụ nwa nwaanyị na nwoke dị mkpa n' ezinụlọ mana ọ bụrụ na amụghị nwa nwoke (dị ọkpara) nsogbu abata. Nwa nwoke dị ezigbo mkpa n' ezinụlọ n’ala Igbo maka na ọ bụ ya ga-abụ onye nnọchite anya nna ma ọ bụrụ na nna anọghị nso. Ọ bụkwa ya ga-eme ka agbụrụ nna ya na-aga n' ihu. Ezinụlọ ọ bụla n' enweghị ike ịmụta nwa nwoke na-anọ n' oke echiche n' ihi n' agbụrụ di nwe ụlọ ahụ ga-echi. Umụnna ga-ekesasị ekpe ya niile. Mgbe nna mụrụ naanị ụmụnwaanyị nwụrụ, ọ na-abụ nnukwu ihe mwute nyere ezinụlọ ahụ n' ihi n' ezinụlọ ahụ agaghị eso keta ekpe n' ihi na nwaanyị anaghị eketa ekpe n' ala Igbo. Nkea mere ndị Igbo ji alụ ụbara nwaanyị mgbe gboo. Ọ bụ ebe a ka nsogbu dị n' nchọcha a gbadoro ụkwụ kpọmkwem n' ihi na ihe niile nwoke ahụ nwere agaghị eru ezinụlọ ya aka. Nkea wee mee ụfọdụ ndị nna amụghị nwoke edebe ofu nwa ya nwaanyi dịka ohu site n’ihachi ya ka o biri mụtara ya nwa nwoke. E jiri atụtụ mmekọrịta ọrụ (Social Role Theory) nke Daniel na Leaper (2011) maka nkọwa okike ọrụ nyere nwoke na nwaanyị. Ha kọwara na ndị obodo na-ahụta na sọsọ ụmụnwoke kwesiri inwe ọnọdụ dị elu karịa ụmụnwaanyị.
